Elle is passionate about local stories that connect people to music, culture, and the arts. Her writing has been published in the Toronto Star, amNewYork and Washington Square News. She has also worked as an e-commerce administrator for Cool Hand Gear; a producer, audio and video editor for the Think About It podcast; a news editor at WNYU Radio; and an intern at Project Syndicate. During her time at NYU, her creative writing work has appeared in NYU’s West 10th Literary Journal.

Elle was born on a Monday in Toronto, Canada. Before moving to New York in August 2020, she lived in Guangzhou, China and Bellevue, Washington. She graduated from New York University with a BA in Journalism and English in May 2024.
